He's off to graduate school, which is an incredible opportunity for him both intellectually and socially. If I were a young single 20-something guy, what I wouldn't give to be in grad school. It's a perfect environment to meet eligible objects of affection. But if he's really sweet on this one woman, then he'll find a way to make things happen with her. I suspect, however, that it may be early on for him with this woman, and he may be in the throes of infatuation. This is perfectly fine advice.
